Arco degli Innamorati

The Arch of the Innamorates is located along the coast of Masua, in the territory of Iglesias, in Sulcis-Iglesiente, and is a suggestive natural formation in limestone rock shaped by the action of the sea and the atmospheric agents. The site is one of the most recognizable sights on the south-western Sardinian coast.
The arch opens directly onto the cliff, creating a natural setting overlooking the sea and offering a privileged view of the imposing Pan di Zucchero, the famous phallus overlooking the coastal landscape. The contrast between the rocky structure and the open sea makes the place particularly scenic.
