Arco dei baci

The Arch of the Kisses – Is Praneddas is located along the coast of Sulcis-Iglesiente, in the territory of Sant'Antioco, and is a suggestive natural rock formation shaped by the action of the sea and the wind. It is a stone arch overlooking the sea, one of the most characteristic elements of the local coastal landscape.
The structure consists of rocks sculpted by sea erosion, which over time created an arched cavity capable of visually connecting sea and coast. This geomorphological process makes the site a significant example of natural evolution of the coastline.
The context is dominated by cliffs, open sea and Mediterranean scrub, with a strong scenic impact given by the shape of the arch and its position on the sea. The area maintains a high degree of naturality and fits into a wild and little anthropized coastal landscape.
