Arcu sa Mossa

The Arcu sa Mossa (or Arcu de sa Mossa) is located in the territory of Nuxis, in Lower Sulcis, and is a mountain pass immersed in the natural context of Gutturu Mannu Park, one of the most important forest areas of south-western Sardinia. The site represents a point of passage between reliefs and internal valleys, in an environment of high landscape value.
The valley is characterized by dense forests, Mediterranean vegetation and granite and shady reliefs, typical of the Sulcis massif. The vegetation is rich and varied, with a well preserved ecosystem that houses numerous species of local fauna.
