Associazione Minatori Nebida onlus

Nebida ONLUS is an organization founded in 2011 on the initiative of former miners of the territory, with the aim of preserving and enhancing the mining history of Nebida and Sulcis-Iglesiente. Since 2014 the association has been active in cultural dissemination thanks to the contribution of former workers and technicians in the field, engaged in research and preservation of the local historical memory.
The activity focuses on the promotion of mining culture, recounting the social, technical and human aspects through initiatives, events and moments of aggregation open to the community and local associations. The symbol of the association is the image of the two miners who embrace, emblem of solidarity and shared identity.
