Bega Trota

The Bega Trota is located in the territory of San Giovanni Suergiu (09010, SU), in Sulcis-Iglesiente, and is a naturalistic attraction inserted in the lagoon and coastal landscape of south-western Sardinia. The area is characterized by natural environments typical of the wetlands of the lower Sulcis, where water, vegetation and local fauna create an ecosystem of particular environmental interest.
The site stands out for the presence of canals, water mirrors and Mediterranean vegetation, elements that help to define a peaceful landscape and strongly linked to nature. The surrounding context preserves a little urbanized and represents one of the characteristic environments of the lagoon of the territory.
