Cala della Signora

The Cala della Signora is located along the western coast of the island of Sant’Antioco, in Sulcis-Iglesiente, and is a suggestive rocky cove characterized by a landscape of volcanic origin. The site is known for its flat lava formations, which shape an unusual and highly scenic coastline.
The area is dominated by smooth volcanic rocks, low rocks and natural platforms, created over time by the joint action of the sea and ancient geological processes. This together generates an environment reminiscent of an almost lunar landscape, with regular and layered surfaces.
The sea, particularly clear, takes on emerald shades, creating a sharp contrast with dark rocks and forming calm water areas reminiscent of real natural pools. The landscape is one of the most characteristic of the western coast of the island.
