Canile di Carbonia

Canile di Carbonia – National League for Defence of Dog is an active structure in the protection and recovery of abandoned dogs, born on the territory of Sulcis Iglesiente to counter the phenomenon of randagism. The local section, launched in 1998, currently operates around 450 dogs and is supported by volunteers daily engaged in care and assistance.
The property, located in Sa Terredda a Carbonia, is part of the historic National League for Dog Defense, an association active since 1950 in the protection of animals in difficulty, abused or abandoned. The barrel is a reference point for animal protection in the territory.
