Capo Altano

Capo Altano is located in Via Grazia Deledda, in Portoscuso (09010, CI), in Sulcis-Iglesiente, and is a coastal promontory of great landscape interest overlooking the sea of south-western Sardinia. The site is one of the most significant natural sights in the area.
The area is characterized by a coastal environment dominated by cliffs, open sea and Mediterranean scrub, with a strong exposure to winds and a wide view of the surrounding coastline. The conformation of the promontory offers suggestive views of the sea landscape and the islands of Sulcis.
