Capo Sandalo

Capo Sandalo is the westernmost point of San Pietro Island, in the territory of Carloforte, and is one of the most iconic places in south-western Sardinia. Famous for its spectacular cliffs overlooking the sea, it offers a wild and scenic landscape where the force of the wind and the sea shaped the coast over time. Here is also the historic nineteenth-century lighthouse of Capo Sandalo, still today symbol of the place and point of reference for navigation. It is considered one of the best locations on the island to admire the sunset over the sea, with intense colors that make the experience particularly suggestive.
