Casa del Pescatore

La Casa del Pescatore is located at the beach of Portupalla, in the territory of Gonnesa, along the coast of Sulcis-Iglesiente. It is a small coastal artifact linked to the tradition of local fishing, inserted in a natural context characterized by open sea and coastal landscapes still little urbanized.
The structure is located directly close to the heartbeat, in an environment dominated by sand, sloping rocks and Mediterranean coast. Its presence recalls traditional activities related to artisanal fishing and the daily life of the coastal communities of the territory.
The surrounding landscape is typical of the coast of Sulcis-Iglesiente, with an alternation of sandy stretches and rocky areas shaped by the action of the sea and the wind. The area preserves a high naturalness and a strong landscape value.
