Chiesa di Sant’Arena

The ruins of the Church of Sant’Arena are located in the territory of Iglesias, in Sulcis-Iglesiente, in an extra-urban position also identified by the geolocalized code 9F7C+8H. The site represents what remains of an ancient religious building today reduced to ruins, immersed in the rural landscape of the Iglesiente.
The surviving structures preserve partial elements of the original plant, evidence of the historical presence of a place of worship now abandoned. The area is characterized by wall remains and architectural traces that emerge in the natural surroundings.
