Diga Su Siuru

The Su Siuru Dam is located in the territory of Domusnovas, in Sulcis-Iglesiente, and is a small artificial invader made for industrial purposes related to the mining activity of the territory. The structure was founded as a service infrastructure for the water supply of the nearby Barraxiutta mine, contributing to the operation of local extractive activities.
Today the basin and the surrounding area have assumed a new function, turning into a naturalistic context appreciated by outdoor enthusiasts, trekking and landscape photography. The water mirror is inserted in a quiet and isolated environment, surrounded by reliefs and Mediterranean vegetation.
