Ecomostro Ex Esit

Ecomostro Ex ESIT is the definition with which some abandoned tourist structures created by ESIT between the 50s and 60s in Sardinia, today in evident state of degradation and with strong impact on the coastal landscape.
The best known case is the former Hotel ESIT “Baia d’Argento”, located in Carloforte in the area of La Caletta, on the Island of San Pietro. This is an imposing unfinished concrete building, which has remained suspended over time and has become a controversial element of the local landscape over the years, due to its panoramic position and strong visual impact on the coast.
