Faraglione del Sarago

The Faraglione del Sarago is located off the coast of Nebida, in the territory of Iglesias, in Sulcis-Iglesiente, and is one of the most recognizable symbols of the south-western coast of Sardinia. This imposing rocky cliff emerges from the sea as a natural monolith, shaped by marine erosion and atmospheric agents over the millennia.
The area is characterized by a landscaped context of great impact, where the phallus fits between peak cliffs, crystal clear sea and rocky mineral stratifications visible on the coast of Nebida. The contrast between the deep blue of the sea and the limestone shades of the rocks makes the panorama particularly scenic.
