Grotta dei Rode

The Grotta dei Rode, located along the Buggerru waterfront, is a natural cavity overlooking the coast of Sulcis-Iglesiente, in a landscape where the sea meets rocky walls and panoramic views of great charm. The coastal position makes it easily accessible and particularly appreciated as an observation point.
Unlike other internal caves, this distinguishes itself by its direct link to the marine environment: the rocks shaped by erosion and exposure to natural agents gave rise to a simple but scenic cavity. More than for underground development, the site is enhanced by the view of the sea and the open atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for short stops and to appreciate the coastal landscape of Buggerru.
