Guardia di Finanza – Comando Sezione Operativa Navale

The Guardia di Finanza – Command Naval Operational Section of Sant’Antioco is an operational structure of the forces of the order specialized in the control and supervision of the marine territory. The unit carries out economic-financial police activities in coastal and marine areas, with tasks related to safety, prevention and contrast of illegal activities.
The naval department deals with sea controls, coast surveillance, contrast to illegal traffic, customs and tax controls in the marine field, as well as rescue operations and support to the safety of navigation. The activity is aimed at the protection of economic legality and the safety of the marine and coastal territory.
