Guardia Medica di San Giovanni Suergiu

San Giovanni Suergiu Medical Guard is a service continuity service of the National Health Service, active during the hours when the basic doctor is not available, especially during night hours, holidays and pre-festives. The service is designed to ensure immediate health support in case of non-serious health problems but requiring medical evaluation.
The facility is responsible for performing outpatient and home visits, providing assistance for acute disorders, urgent prescriptions and first clinical evaluations. It can also direct the patient to the emergency room or to further specialist insights when necessary, performing a role of filtering and support for spatial assistance.
