INAIL (National Institute for Insurance against accidents at work) is a public body responsible for the protection of workers through the management of compulsory insurance against accidents at work and occupational diseases. The activity includes risk prevention in working environments, occupational safety support and management of compensation practices and insurance assistance. The agency also plays an active role in promoting the culture of prevention, through controls, technical advice and information projects aimed at enterprises and workers.
