La roccia dell’orso

The Roccia dell’Orso is located in Via Torre, 1, in Portoscuso (09010, CI), in Sulcis-Iglesiente, and is a particular coastal rock formation that recalls, by natural form, the shape of a bear. The site is part of a landscape typical of the south-western coast of Sardinia.
The rock is shaped by the combined action of wind and sea, which over time carved the limestone creating a recognizable and curious shape. The surrounding area is characterized by cliffs, open sea and Mediterranean scrub, typical elements of the coast of Portoscuso.
