La Salina di Calasetta

The Salina di Calasetta is a charming natural beach with coastal ecosystem and historic saltwater pond located on the north-western coast of the island of Sant’Antioco.
The coast, also known as “Le Saline”, takes its name from the ancient use of the area for the extraction of salt, today abandoned but still legible in the landscape. The beach is characterized by clear sand, clear sea and a natural environment that preserves a strong landscape and historical value.
