Laveria Lamarmora

Laveria Lamarmora (Miniera di Nebida), located in the territory of Iglesias in the locality of Nebida, is one of the most iconic symbols of industrial archaeology of Sulcis-Iglesiente. The complex overlooks the sea, in a landscape of extraordinary beauty where rocky and deep blue cliffs of the Mediterranean create a unique setting.
Made for the processing of minerals extracted from the surrounding mines, the mill was one of the fundamental stages of the production cycle, dedicated to the selection and treatment of lead and zinc. Today it preserves its structure in stone and iron, perfectly integrated in the coastal landscape, becoming a historical testimony of great value.
