Menhir di Luxia Arrabiosa

The Menhir of Luxia Arrabiosa (Villaperuccio) is an important megalithic monument of prenuragic Sardinia, located in the territory of Sulcis-Iglesiente (09010 SU). The site represents a significant testimony of the ancient ritual and symbolic practices of the Neolithic communities of the island.
The menhir consists of a monolith in stone built vertically in the ground, typical of the megalithic structures spread in Sardinia during the Neolithic period. These elements were probably linked to cultual, astronomical or territorial functions, and represented symbolic reference points within the prehistoric landscape.
