Menhir di Su Para e Sa Mongia

The Menhir di Su Para and Sa Mongia (Sant’Antioco) is an important megalithic monument of prenuragic Sardinia, located in the territory of Sulcis-Iglesiente (09017 SU). The site is a significant testimony to the ancient ritual and symbolic practices of the Neolithic communities that inhabited the island.
The monument consists of a monolith in stone built vertically in the ground, typical of the menhir spread in Sardinia during the Neolithic period.
