The Miniera di Barega, located in the homonymous hamlet of the municipality of Iglesias in Sulcis-Iglesiente, rises on the deposit of Monte Barega – Monte Arcau, in a hilly context full of mining and Mediterranean vegetation. The area still retains a strong link with its extractive vocation, typical of the Italian territory.
