Miniera di Tinì

The Mine of Tinì, located in the territory of Domusnovas in Sulcis-Iglesiente, is inserted in a hilly context typical of the area, characterized by limestone, Mediterranean vegetation and a landscape strongly linked to the mining tradition. The environment still preserves a natural aspect, with evident traces of the historical presence of man.
The site is part of the largest mining system of the iglesiente territory, where over time extractive activities linked to different minerals have been developed. The mine has elements that can be traced back to the ancient workings and the operating spaces that have now been disposed, which tell the organization of work and the local industrial history.
