Monte Borrona

Monte Borrona is located on the north-western coast of San Pietro Island, in the territory of Carloforte, in Sulcis-Iglesiente, and is a spectacular coastal formation also known as the Borrona Mountain. The relief is distinguished by its characteristic white cliff, which emerges on the sea creating one of the most recognizable landscapes of the island.
The area is characterized by clear rocky walls, cliffs overlooking the sea and Mediterranean coastal vegetation, which shape a particularly suggestive natural environment. The shape of the cliff creates strong chromatic contrasts between the clear rock, the blue of the sea and the green of the Mediterranean scrub.
