Monte Exi ex Vulcano

Monte Exi is located in the territory of Villamassargia, in Sulcis-Iglesiente, and is an ancient volcanic relief that dominates the landscape of south-western Sardinia. Known as a former Sulcis volcano, it is one of the most characteristic geological elements in the area.
The mountain is characterized by volcanic rock formations, hilly slopes and Mediterranean vegetation, which testify to the ancient geological activity of the territory. The conformation of the relief creates a particular natural environment, with well visible rocky outcrops and views open to the countryside and the surrounding mountains.
