Monte Gioiosa

Monte Gioiosa is located in the territory of Villamassargia, in Sulcis-Iglesiente, and is a hilly relief of south-western Sardinia known for its landscape and historical value. The area dominates the surrounding area with extensive views of the countryside, the Sulcis reliefs and the inner valleys.
The mountain is characterized by Mediterranean maquis, rocky outcrops and spontaneous vegetation, which help to create a natural environment typical of the hinterland of the sulcian. The slopes alternate wooded areas and more open sections, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
