Monte Lisone

Monte Lisone is located in the Monte Linas massif, in southwestern Sardinia, and is one of the most representative peaks of the mountainous area between the territories of Villacidro, Gonnosfanadiga and Fluminimaggiore. With its 1,022 meters of altitude, the relief is inserted in a natural context of great landscape and geological importance.
From the geological point of view, the mountain is known for the presence of an imposing quarziferous thread, an element of particular scientific interest that characterizes the structure of the massif of Linas. Rocky formations help to define a rough and very varied landscape.
