Monte Narcao

Monte Narcao is located in the territory of Perdaxius, in Lower Sulcis, in the south-west of Sardinia, and is a plateau of volcanic origin that reaches about 480 meters of altitude s.l.m.. The relief is distinguished by its tabular conformation, typical of the ancient volcanic structures now eroded in time.
The flat top, known locally as Pranedda de Monti, is a distinctive element of the landscape and contributes to defining the identity of the relief. The area is characterized by Mediterranean maquis, rocky outcrops and spontaneous vegetation, which cover evenly most of the plateau.
