Monte Perdas de Fogu

The Monte Perdas de Fogu (Sant’Antioco) is located in the southern part of the island of Sant’Antioco, in Sulcis-Iglesiente, and is a hilly relief that reaches about 271 meters of altitude. The top is one of the most interesting sights on the island, thanks to its dominant position on the coastal landscape.
The area is characterized by Mediterranean maquis, rocky slopes and natural paths, which make the mountain an appreciated destination for hiking and outdoor activities. The typical vegetation of the territory contributes to creating an authentic and little anthropized environment.
From a landscaped point of view, the mountain offers wide views of the coast of Sulcis, the surrounding sea and the nearby islands, with particularly suggestive views on clear days. The high position makes it a privileged point of observation.
