Monte Sa Mirra

Mount Sa Mirra is located in the territory of Santadi, in Sulcis-Iglesiente, and is one of the highest peaks of the Sulcis massif, reaching about 1,096 meters of altitude. The relief is inserted in a mountain context of great naturalistic value, shared with important peaks like the nearby Monte Is Caravius.
The area is characterized by a strongly wild environment, with a dense coverage of Mediterranean forests and forest vegetation that often makes the summit not distinguishable from the surrounding peaks. This vegetative density contributes to creating an intact and little anthropized landscape.
