Monumento al Minatore

Monument to the Minor is a suggestive monument located in the center of Fluminimaggiore, in the Sulcis Iglesiente. The work is dedicated to the memory of the miners and the hard work done in the mines of the territory, symbol of the industrial and social history of south-western Sardinia. Sculpture is a strong reminder to the local identity, celebrating the fatigue, sacrifice and dignity of those who have worked in the underground. It is a historical point of reference that directly and immediately tells the mining culture of the territory.
