Monumento Naturale di Gutturu Pala

The Natural Monument of Gutturu Pala is located in the territory of Fluminimaggiore, in Sulcis-Iglesiente, and is an area of extraordinary geological and landscape value. The site is characterized by imposing vertical walls of grey limestone, which give life to a harsh and highly scenic natural environment.
The area is part of Gutturu Pala-Pubusinu, one of the most important forest complexes in south-western Sardinia, where canyons, cliffs and Mediterranean forests alternate. The context is strongly wild and preserves a high degree of naturality.
