Museo Archeologico Villa Sulcis

The Archaeological Museum Villa Sulcis, located in Via Campania in Carbonia, is a cultural space dedicated to the valorization of the ancient history of the territory of Sulcis-Iglesiente, with particular attention to the archaeological testimonies that tell the human presence from the prehistoric age to the Roman age. The museum collects and preserves finds that allow to reconstruct the daily life, habits and development of the first local communities.
The exhibition is organized in order to accompany the visitor through the different historical stages of the territory, offering a clear and accessible reading of the archaeological heritage. The exhibition enhances the link between artefacts, historical context and territory, making the visit a complete cultural experience.
