Museo Miniera Orbai

The Museo Miniera Orbai – “Memories of Mine” is a space dedicated to mining history and the memory of the work in the mine, with an exhibition that tells the life of miners and the evolution of mining activities in the territory. The museum preserves tools, documents, photographs and testimonies that directly reconstruct daily experience within the mining world.
The route develops as a story of community and work, highlighting operational conditions, social aspects and the strong link between mine and territory. The exhibition enhances the collective memory, transforming the site into a place of historical conservation and identity linked to the mining epoeia of Sulcis.
