Nuraghe Bricco delle Piane

The Nuraghe Bricco delle Piane is a historical landmark located in the territory of Calasetta, in Sulcis Iglesiente, in an area that preserves traces of the presence of nuragic civilization within the Sardinian coastal landscape. Nuraghe Bricco delle Piane is inserted in a natural context characterized by reliefs and open areas, typical of the nuragic places intended for the control of the territory and the surveillance of the communication routes.
The site, today in a state not always clearly readable on the structural level, still maintains an archaeological value linked to the diffusion of nuragic settlements on the island of Sant’Antioco and in the surrounding areas. Its location contributes to outline the network of ancient presences that characterize the Sulcis, offering a testimony of the widespread occupation of the territory in prehistoric times.
