Nuraghe Chiccu Mei

The Nuraghe Chiccu Mei, located in the territory of Nuxis in Sulcis, is located a short distance from the town, in an area where the rural landscape alternates with sweet reliefs and still intact countryside areas. The site is a testament to the nuragic presence in this area of southwestern Sardinia.
The structure, made of local stone, today is in rough conditions, with remains that allow to recognize the setting of a nuragic settlement. The organization of the remains suggests a small garrison linked to the control of the surrounding area, in line with the network of sites in the Sulcis area.
