Nuraghe Conca Muscioni

The Nuraghe Conca Muscioni is a historical landmark located in the territory of Fluminimaggiore, in the Sulcis Iglesiente, in an area characterized by hill reliefs and natural contexts still little urbanized. Nuraghe Conca Muscioni represents a testimony of the nuragic civilization, widespread capillarmente in south-western Sardinia and linked to the strategic management of the territory during the Bronze Age.
The site is part of a landscape of great archaeological interest, where the nuraghi carried out functions of garrison, control and organization of community space. Its position in a slightly elevated position suggests a use linked to the surveillance of the surrounding areas and the natural communication routes.
