Nuraghe Genna Suergiu

The Nuraghe Genna Suergiu is located in the territory of Buggerru, in Sulcis-Iglesiente, and represents one of the archaeological evidences related to the nuragic civilization present in the south-western area of Sardinia. The site is located in a panoramic position also identified by the geolocalized code 9FRG+X6.
The nuraghe is inserted in the typical context of the Iglesiente, characterized by rocky reliefs, Mediterranean vegetation and hilly landscapes, elements that have favored the human settlement since ancient times. The surviving structures highlight the ancient defensive and settlement function typical of nuragic architecture.
