Nuraghe Grixionis

The Nuraghe Grixionis, in the territory of Portoscuso (Sulcis), is located in a rural area, about 5 km from the town. The surrounding context is characterized by an open landscape, where alternate fields, stretches of Mediterranean scrub and mild undulations of the soil.
The monument, built in local stone, today appears in rough conditions and preserves only some portions of the original structure. Despite the fragmentation, it is still possible to intuit the presence of a small nuragic core, probably inserted in a network of control points of the wider territory of Sulcis. Its position, drawn but consistent with other sites in the area, suggests a use related to the management of resources and internal paths.
