Nuraghe Guardia de su Turcu

The Nuraghe Guardia de su Turcu is located in the territory of Fluminimaggiore, along the SP105, in one of the most scenic sections of the Iglesiente, where the road moves between rocky walls, low vegetation and sudden openings on the internal landscape. It is a context that gives the site an almost “pass” character, more than destination.
The remains of the nuraghe, made of local stone, do not emerge with a clearly defined structure: what remains is a fragmented presence, which is recognized above all for material continuity with the nuragic architectures of the territory. It does not seem a great complex, but rather a secondary point inserted along a natural director of connection between different areas of the Iglesiente. The landscape is dominant, to the point that the site is perceived almost as part of the land itself.
