Nuraghe Monte Murecci

The Nuraghe Monte Murecci, located in the territory of Piscinas nel Sulcis, is located in a hilly setting overlooking the surrounding landscape, characterized by Mediterranean vegetation and rural areas still little anthropized. The location of the site makes it a point of course privileged for the observation of the territory.
The structure, made of local stone, today is in a state of ruins, but it preserves traces of the original plant that allow to recognize its nuragic nature. The remains suggest a small settlement with a function likely linked to the control of the underlying areas and the internal passageways. The environmental context, still intact and unmodified, contributes to enhancing the historical aspect of the site.
