Nuraghe Monte Scorra

The Nuraghe Monte Scorra, in the territory of Villamassargia, is located in a hilly context typical of the English, where the landscape alternates sweet reliefs, affiorant rocks and large areas of Mediterranean vegetation. The slightly elevated position contributes to an open perception of the surrounding area.
The site, made of local stone, today is in a state of ruins and preserves only portions of the original structure, not enough to return the entire architectural system. However, the remains clearly refer to the presence of a nuragic settlement, probably linked to control and monitoring functions of the territory. Placement on a height suggests strategic use of the point, in continuity with other sites placed on the reliefs of the area.
