Nuraghe Murru Moi

The Nuraghe Murru Moi, located in the territory of Gonnesa in the area of the Iglesiente, is an important complex nuraghe that is about 4 km in line of air from the town. Placed in a landscape typical of the south-west Sardinia, the site represents a significant testimony of the nuragic civilization in the area.
The structure, now the subject of further studies and insights, preserves the typical plant of complex nuraghi, although the current conditions require a deeper archaeological reading. The geographical position, isolated but strategic, confirms the importance of control of the territory in the nuragic era.
