Nuraghe Paringianu

The Nuraghe Paringianu, located in the territory of Portoscuso in Sulcis, is located in an area of great archaeological interest, not far from the most famous complex of Monte Sirai. The context is typical of the south-west Sardinian, where reliefs, countryside and historical testimonies intertwine in a landscape still well readable.
The structure, made of local stone, today is in a state of ruins but preserves traces of the original plant that allow to recognize its nuragic function. The location, near an area rich in ancient sites, suggests an integrated role in the local settlement network, probably linked to the control of the connecting routes and local resources.
