Nuraghe Perda Asua de Pari

The Nuraghe Perda Asua de Pari, located in the territory of San Giovanni Suergiu in Sulcis, is located in an open rural setting, characterized by large flat areas and typical rural sections of the Sulcis bass. The site is part of a landscape where archaeological evidence alternates with agricultural land and still well preserved natural spaces.
The structure, made of local stone, is visible today in the form of ruins and preserves only parts of the original plant, but sufficient to identify the nuragic type. The remains suggest a small settlement with probable function of territorial garrison and control of the surrounding agricultural activities. The position in an open and flat area distinguishes it from other higher nuraghi, highlighting an adaptation to the characteristics of the bass Sulcis territory.
