Nuraghe Perdas Stufaras

The Nuraghe Perdas Stufaras, located in the territory of Sant’Antioco in Sulcis, is located in an internal context of the island characterized by open natural areas, Mediterranean maquis and an unplanned landscape. The site is part of an environment still strongly linked to the rural and historical dimension of the island.
The structure, made of local stone, today appears in very fragmentary conditions, with scattered remains that do not allow a complete reading of the original plant, but that still confirm the attribution to the nuragic civilization. The site seems to represent a minor presence, probably linked to a small point of attendance or control of the territory, inserted in the widespread network of archaeological testimonies present in Sant’Antioco.
