Nuraghe Pesus

The Nuraghe Pesus, located in the territory of Perdaxius in Sulcis, is a short distance from the town, in a rural setting characterized by fields and landscapes typical of the south-western Sardinian hinterland. The site is located in a historically rich area of nuragic testimonies, often distributed widely throughout the territory.
The structure, made of local stone, today is in a state of ruins but preserves sufficient traces to identify the original plant of the nuraghe. The remains suggest a small settlement with probable function of garrison and control of the surrounding agricultural activities.
