Nuraghe Pruna

The Nuraghe Pruna, on the island of Sant’Antioco in Sulcis, is located in an internal area with a sweet profile, where the Mediterranean vegetation alternates with open spaces and rural paths. The context is not urbanized and maintains a strong link with the natural environment of the island.
The site, made of local stone, today presents itself in very small conditions: what remains does not return a complete structure, but a series of elements that still bear witness to a frequentation in the nuragic era. The whole suggests more a secondary point of presence on the territory than a large monumental building, inserted in a widespread system of small settlements that characterized the ancient organization of the island.
